A few weeks ago we went to the old pinawa dams. It was so beautiful, if I ever disappeared I might just disappear here. I can imagine living in the bush surrounded by all that beauty. The kids LOVED it, they had so much fun running on the rocks and sitting with their feet in the water.
This is defiantly a trip we will do again. It was a simple little road trip we did with my parents and my brother and sister in law and my nephew. We were missing my sister, brother in law my other nephew and of course our oldest daughter. All in all it was good day even though some folks were missing :-)

what a crazy weekend

In the building I work in I have to be on call every second weekend. This weekend was my weekend to be on call, it was nuts. It rained so hard that I spent and hour running from suite to suite looking for leaking windows, a tenant had water pouring from the ceiling onto her bed. The drain in the lower parkade was bubbling over, creating a second swimming pool??? Then the drains upstairs were stinking and I had to treat them to keep the stink down. Someone dragged thier dirty stinky garbage on the carpet on the second floor all into the stairwell and doen the stairs. Let me tell you that was not fun. Sunday morning started with a call saying all the washing machines were not working. After not being able to get the company that takes care of the washers on the phone a tenant told me this had happened once before and he had just unplugged all the machines and they had reset themselves. Then upstairs to reset the air condtioning unit.

The kids are leaving for camp in a week so we have been trying to get thier things ready to go to camp. I'm so excited and I think the kids are too. That means I will only have one kid for the week. All in all it has been a crazy weekend. After they come back we will be heading for edmonton on our week long get away I can't wait :-)
